16-core Ryzen 9 workstation

This desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. It targets creators and gamers who need high multi-threaded throughput and 16GB of video memory in a single tower. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and a 360mm liquid cooler for the CPU.

64GB DDR5 and 1TB NVMe headroom

The board provides four memory slots with a 192GB ceiling, so the current 64GB kit leaves three slots open for future expansion. The Samsung 990 PRO delivers up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, giving fast scratch space for large projects before a second drive becomes necessary.

X870 motherboard and 850W PSU foundation

The PRIME X870-P board supplies two USB4 ports, a 2.5Gb Ethernet jack and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity at the rear panel. Internal headers include four M.2 connectors and two SATA ports for additional storage. The Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit powers the build with Japanese capacitors and a 140mm fan, leaving headroom for further upgrades.

Questions about this item

Will the PRIME X870-P motherboard and 850 W PSU still power my existing SATA hard drives and 2.5" SSDs?

Yes — the board provides two SATA 6 Gb/s ports and the case includes two 3.5" and two 2.5" internal bays, so older SATA drives fit and connect directly.

How can I confirm the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3 GHz base clock under load?

Monitor core temperatures in Windows 11 Pro or the motherboard BIOS; the 360 mm AIO is sized for the 16-core CPU and should maintain base clock without throttling.

Which cables and accessories ship with the Corsair 4000D build — do I need to buy a display cable or Wi-Fi antenna separately?

The system includes the motherboard Wi-Fi 7 antenna, PSU power cord, and case front-panel connectors; a DisplayPort or HDMI cable for the Radeon RX 9070 XT is not supplied.
