Core Configuration

This desktop combines a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets creators and engineers who need strong single-thread speed and GPU compute for modelling, rendering and AI workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 360 mm liquid cooler.

Memory and Storage Headroom

The board holds 128 GB of DDR5 across four slots and supports up to 192 GB total. A 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. Two additional M.2 slots and internal 3.5-inch bays remain open for expansion.

Deciding Specification

The RTX 5080 provides 16 GB of video memory. Buyers whose scenes, datasets or inference models exceed that frame-buffer limit will hit a hard ceiling regardless of CPU or system RAM. Those workloads need a GPU with more VRAM.

Questions about this item

Will the AM5 socket on the PRIME X870-P motherboard accept my existing AM4 CPU cooler?

No, the AM5 socket requires a cooler with AM5 mounting hardware; the included 360 mm liquid cooler is built for AM5.

How can I verify the Samsung 990 PRO is running at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds after Windows 11 Pro boots?

Open Task Manager > Performance > Disk and confirm the link speed shows PCIe 4.0 x4 with sequential reads near 7450 MB/s.

Does the Corsair 4000D case ship with extra 3.5-inch drive trays so I can add my old SATA hard drives?

The case includes two internal 3.5-inch bays; trays are pre-installed, so no extra purchase is needed for up to two SATA drives.
