24-core Threadripper workstation

This system pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz with 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16 GB GPU. It is built for professionals who need high multi-threaded compute and GPU acceleration in a single tower running Windows 11 Pro.

Upgrade from limited cores or memory

The jump is worth it when workloads exceed the capacity of mainstream desktop platforms, such as large simulation datasets, complex 3D rendering, or multi-stream video encoding that demand more than 24 threads and 128 GB of ECC RAM. Liquid cooling sustains boost clocks up to 5.3 GHz under sustained load.

4 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD headroom

The Samsung 990 PRO 4 TB NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for active project files, while the 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache provides bulk archive storage. Capacity runs out when simultaneous active datasets exceed the 4 TB fast tier or total retention needs surpass 14 TB combined.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the Corsair 5000D Frame case?

The 360 mm AIO mounts in the front or top of the 520 mm deep case; allow space for the radiator, two 120 mm case fans and the 140 mm PSU fan.

Which power cables must be connected to the RTX 5080 during installation?

The 1200 W 80 Plus Gold PSU supplies the GPU through its native 12VHPWR or dual 8-pin PCIe cables; seat each connector fully until the latch clicks.

How many 3.5″ drive bays remain free after the 10 TB HDD is fitted?

The case provides two internal 3.5″ bays; one holds the 10 TB SATA drive, leaving one bay open for another 3.5″ HDD.
