Threadripper 9960X 24-core workstation

This liquid-cooled desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X running at 4.2 GHz with 256 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. The combination targets professionals who need high core counts and error-correcting RAM for simulation, rendering or large-scale data analysis. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a validated platform.

10 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD storage

Three Samsung 990 PRO drives deliver 2 TB, 4 TB and 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe capacity with sequential reads up to 7 450 MB/s and writes up to 6 900 MB/s. A 10 TB SATA III hard drive adds 256 MB cache for bulk archives. The motherboard provides four M.2 slots and eight SATA ports for future expansion.

360 mm AIO cooler and 1 600 W Titanium PSU

The CPU uses a 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler while the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 power supply runs an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections are built in. The Corsair 5000D Frame case includes front and rear 120 mm fans for chassis airflow.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 TB SATA hard drive work alongside my older SATA III drives in the same chassis?

The 10 TB drive uses a SATA III interface and fits the two internal 3.5-inch bays, so it can share the existing SATA backplane with legacy drives.

How can I confirm the 24-core Threadripper 9960X is boosting to its 5.3 GHz maximum after assembly?

Open Task Manager or HWMonitor under load and watch the CPU frequency climb to 5.3 GHz across the 48 threads.

What comes in the box and which parts must I source separately?

The workstation ships fully assembled with the 24-core CPU, 256 GB DDR5 ECC, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs totalling 10 TB, the 10 TB SATA HDD, RTX 5090 32 GB GPU, 1600 W 80+ Titanium PSU, 360 mm AIO cooler, Windows 11 Pro and Corsair 5000D Frame case; no additional components are required.
