Custom Threadripper Workstation

This new tower desktop pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X processor with 64GB DDR5 ECC memory and liquid cooling. A 2TB NVMe SSD and 10TB hard drive provide fast and high-capacity storage. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed and includes an Nvidia RTX 5090 32GB graphics card for GPU-accelerated workloads.

Suited for AI development and rendering

The 24-core CPU and 32GB VRAM GPU combination targets professionals training models or rendering complex scenes locally. ECC memory protects data integrity during long compute jobs. Buyers who need more than 64GB of system memory or require multiple GPU slots for larger clusters should consider alternative platforms.

24-core Threadripper 9960X CPU

The processor delivers 24 cores and 48 threads with a 4.2GHz base clock and up to 5.3GHz boost. Its sTR5 socket and 128MB L3 cache sit on a Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard. This core count and memory bandwidth decide whether the system matches your parallel processing requirements.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 360mm liquid cooler and the 140mm PSU fan during sustained all-day workloads?

The CPU uses a 360mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 1600W Seasonic PSU has an ultra-quiet 140mm fan designed for low noise levels.

Which display cables and monitor inputs are needed to use the RTX 5090 32GB GPU?

The GPU requires a compatible monitor with DisplayPort or HDMI inputs and matching cables, which are not included with the system.

Can the 10TB SATA hard drive and 2TB NVMe SSD be used together with older SATA or M.2 drives I already own?

The motherboard provides four M.2 slots and eight SATA 6Gb/s ports, so existing SATA SSDs, hard drives or M.2 modules can be added alongside the installed storage.
