32-Core Threadripper Workstation

The Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a liquid CPU cooler. Storage combines three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10TB with a 10TB SATA hard drive. An RTX 5070 12GB graphics card and 1200W Gold power supply complete the Windows 11 Pro system.

Suited for multi-threaded compute, not GPU clusters

Engineers and creators running heavily threaded simulations, rendering or virtualisation benefit from the 32 cores and 64 threads with 128MB L3 cache. The single RTX 5070 12GB limits multi-GPU scaling, so buyers needing multiple accelerators should look elsewhere. Two onboard LAN ports support redundant networking.

Three NVMe drives plus 10TB hard drive

The boot and scratch layer uses a 2TB and two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO SSDs delivering up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes. A 10TB SATA drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity. This mix decides whether the storage layout matches your workload.

Questions about this item

When will the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU or the 360mm liquid cooler need replacement?

The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses Japanese capacitors and a 140mm fan rated for long life; the 360mm AIO is a sealed loop with no user-serviceable parts, so neither has a scheduled replacement interval.

What thermal or power limit appears first when all 32 cores sustain 5.4 GHz boost?

The 360mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler and 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU are sized for the Threadripper 9970X 32-core 128MB L3 cache package, so the CPU power limit is reached before the cooler or PSU saturates.

How loud is the 140mm PSU fan and 360mm AIO fans under 24/7 load?

The PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140mm fan and the 360mm AIO is a Quiet Edition loop; both are designed for low noise at full load, with case front and rear 120mm fans adding measured airflow.
