Threadripper 9970X 32-Core Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory for heavy multi-threaded workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and an Nvidia RTX 4000 Blackwell GPU equipped with 24GB of video memory. It targets professionals who need certified stability for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis.

4TB NVMe PRO SSD plus 10TB HDD storage

A Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for active projects. The 10TB SATA hard drive adds 256MB cache for bulk archives and backups. Together they remove the need to juggle external arrays during long compute sessions.

1200W Gold PSU in Corsair 5000D FRAME

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses a 140mm fan and Japanese main capacitors for quiet, protected delivery. Front-panel I/O includes USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C and audio; rear I/O adds two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and four USB 3.2 Gen 1. A 10GbE Marvell AQC113C LAN port handles high-throughput network storage.

Questions about this item

How often should the liquid in the 360 mm AIO cooler be checked or replaced?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit that does not require refilling; inspect the radiator and fan blades for dust every 6 to 12 months and verify pump operation by feeling for vibration or checking software RPM readings.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during continuous all-core workloads?

The 32-core Threadripper 9970X draws up to its rated power under sustained loads, and the 360 mm liquid cooler is sized to keep it within its 5.4 GHz boost envelope without throttling.

What noise and heat levels should I expect when the system runs 24/7?

The 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, the AIO runs a 360 mm radiator with low-noise fans, and the Corsair 5000D case provides front and rear 120 mm airflow for steady thermals.
