64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop centres on a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 5.4 GHz boost clock and 256 MB L3 cache. It targets engineers, data scientists and creative studios that need 128 threads of parallel compute for simulation, rendering or large-model training.

Liquid Cooling and Tool-Less Drive Bays

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler mounts on the sTR5 socket without custom tubing. The Corsair 5000D Frame case provides internal 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch bays plus front-panel USB 3.0, 3.1 Type-C and audio, so storage or peripheral swaps need no tools.

Sustained 1200W Gold Power Delivery

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses a Japanese main capacitor and a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan to maintain stable rails during multi-hour 64-core workloads. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections keep the CPU, 512 GB DDR5 ECC memory and dual 4 TB NVMe drives running at full speed without throttling.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 64-core Threadripper 9980X is running at up to 5.4 GHz after setup?

Open Task Manager or a monitoring tool and check that all 128 threads show activity and the maximum frequency reaches 5.4 GHz under load.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The tower includes the Threadripper 9980X, 512 GB DDR5 ECC RAM, two 4 TB NVMe SSDs, a 10 TB HDD, RTX A400 with four MiniDisplayPort outputs, 1200 W PSU, liquid cooler, Windows 11 Pro, keyboard and mouse; only a display and cables are needed.

Which version of the RTX A400 should I choose for four MiniDisplayPort monitors?

The supplied RTX A400 already provides four MiniDisplayPort connectors, so no alternative version is required.
