Threadripper 9970X 32-core workstation

This desktop pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X processor with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and a 360mm liquid cooler. It targets professionals who need sustained multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and is described as AI ready.

2TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD storage

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for active project files. The 10TB SATA hard drive adds deep capacity for archives and bulk assets with a 256MB cache. Workloads that exceed the NVMe's 2TB will spill to the slower mechanical tier.

Corsair 5000D case with 1200W Gold PSU

The tower measures 520 x 245 x 520 mm and includes front and rear 120mm fans alongside the liquid cooler. A Thermaltake 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit with a 140mm fan powers the build and provides over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Rear I/O offers 10GbE LAN, two USB4 Type-C ports and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.

Questions about this item

Will the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU power my existing PCIe add-in cards alongside the RTX 4500 32GB?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W unit delivers 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection, leaving ample headroom for the RTX 4500 and additional PCIe cards.

How can I verify the Threadripper 9970X is running at its 5.4 GHz boost and the 360mm AIO is keeping thermals in check?

Monitor CPU clock speeds and coolant temperature in HWInfo or Ryzen Master; the 32-core 9970X should hit 5.4 GHz on boost while the 360mm Quiet Edition AIO maintains low liquid temps under load.

Which cables and accessories ship with the Corsair 5000D FRAME build, and what must I source separately?

The system includes the motherboard I/O shield, PSU modular cables, 360mm AIO mounting hardware, case fans and Windows 11 Pro licence; you only need to add a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
