Built for compute-intensive workflows

This workstation pairs a 32-core Threadripper 9970X processor with 512GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a liquid-cooled thermal solution. The RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell GPU adds 48GB of video memory for rendering and simulation tasks. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships pre-installed on the 8TB NVMe array.

Suits studios running multi-threaded pipelines

Teams needing error-correcting memory, high GPU VRAM and quiet liquid cooling will match this specification. Buyers who want more storage than 8TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD or who require a rackmount chassis should evaluate other form factors.

Deciding spec: 32-core Threadripper 9970X

The 128MB L3 cache and 64 threads scale directly with compile, simulation and render workloads. If the daily queue fits in fewer cores, a smaller processor and motherboard will cost less without changing the rest of the build.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the Corsair 5000D case?

The 360 mm radiator mounts in the Corsair 5000D frame with front and rear 120 mm fans; the case measures 520 mm deep by 245 mm wide by 520 mm high.

Which power cables must be connected to the 1200 W PSU for the Threadripper 9970X and RTX PRO 5000?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W unit supplies the sTR5 CPU and GPU through its native cables; route the 24-pin ATX, dual EPS and PCIe leads before closing the tempered-glass panel.

How often should the liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan be inspected for dust?

Check the 360 mm radiator fins and the PSU's 140 mm fan every six months; clean with compressed air to keep the 1200 W supply and CPU loop running quietly.
