Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This new tower workstation pairs a 32-core AMD Threadripper 9970X running at 4.0 GHz with a 360 mm liquid cooler and 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory. Windows 11 Pro is installed on a fast NVMe array totalling 6 TB, while a 10 TB SATA hard drive provides bulk storage. The system is powered by a 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply and housed in a Corsair 5000D Frame case.

AI-Ready Multi-Core Platform

The configuration suits professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or AI workloads and value ECC memory stability. Builders who require more than two M.2 slots populated, additional GPU slots beyond the single RTX 5070 12 GB card, or a chassis smaller than the 520 x 245 x 520 mm tower should look at other form factors.

Single RTX 5070 12 GB GPU

Only one Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 12 GB of video memory is installed, so the machine delivers workstation compute but not multi-GPU scaling. Buyers planning GPU render farms or dual-GPU AI training will need a platform that supports additional graphics cards.

Questions about this item

Will the 520 mm deep Corsair 5000D FRAME case fit on my desk?

The tower measures 520 mm deep, 245 mm wide and 520 mm high, so check your available desk depth before ordering.

Does the 360 mm liquid cooler come pre-filled and mounted on the Threadripper 9970X?

Yes, the AIO arrives installed and sealed; the only step some builders miss is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before first power-on.

How many 3.5-inch drives can I add later to the internal bays?

The case provides two internal 3.5-inch bays; both are occupied by the 10 TB HDD, so adding more requires a 2.5-inch bay adapter or external enclosure.
