64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This business desktop pairs a 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory. The system targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or multi-threaded compute workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit installed and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Liquid Cooling And Fast Storage Bundle

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler keeps the CPU at stable temperatures during sustained loads. The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec. A 10TB SATA hard drive with 256MB cache adds bulk capacity for project archives.

sTR5 Socket And TRX50 Chipset

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard uses the sTR5 socket and provides 10GbE LAN, dual USB4 Type-C ports and four M.2 connectors. Builders who need a different socket or chipset cannot reuse this board. The configuration is customisable before purchase.

Questions about this item

How often will the 360 mm liquid cooler and 120 mm case fans need cleaning or replacement?

The 360 mm AIO cooler and the front and rear 120 mm fans should be checked for dust every six to twelve months; the sealed loop requires no fluid change, while fans can be swapped individually if they become noisy or fail.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during an all-day render on the 64-core Threadripper 9980X?

The CPU is rated up to 5.4 GHz with a 256 MB L3 cache and is cooled by the 360 mm liquid loop, so the 1200 W 80 Plus Gold supply and motherboard VRM are designed to sustain full load without throttling before the cooler reaches its limit.

What noise and heat levels should I expect when the RTX 5060 and Threadripper run continuously?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition cooler and 140 mm PSU fan are specified for low noise, while the 1200 W Gold supply and liquid loop keep component temperatures stable during extended workloads.
