Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper PRO 9965WX at 4.2 GHz with 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 360 mm AIO cooler. A 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold supply powers the system, which ships with Windows 11 Pro on a GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard inside a Corsair 5000D FRAME case.

AI-Ready Multi-Drive Storage

The configuration suits engineers and researchers who need large, fast local datasets for simulation or model training. Three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives provide 10 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage alongside a 10 TB SATA III hard drive for bulk archives. Buyers who need more than 128 GB of memory or additional GPU compute should look at a different configuration.

32 GB RTX PRO 4500 GPU

The installed Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell card delivers 32 GB of video memory for GPU-accelerated rendering and compute workloads. This single-GPU setup limits users who require multi-GPU scaling or larger frame buffers for extreme scenes.

Questions about this item

Which storage configuration should I choose between the 2 TB, 4 TB, and 4 TB NVMe drives?

The workstation ships with three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives: one 2 TB and two 4 TB units, all running at PCIe 4.0 x4 with up to 7 450 MB/s read and 6 900 MB/s write. Use the 2 TB drive for the operating system and active projects, and the two 4 TB drives for large datasets or scratch space.

What does the 24-core Threadripper PRO 9965WX at 4.2 GHz deliver in a real workload?

The processor provides 24 cores and 48 threads with a base clock of 4.2 GHz and a boost up to 5.3 GHz, plus 128 MB L3 cache. It handles heavy multi-threaded tasks such as rendering, simulation, and AI model training while the 360 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures low under sustained load.

What PCIe generation do the M.2 slots use and what throughput does that cap the SSDs at?

Each M.2 slot on the TRX50 motherboard is wired for PCIe 4.0 x4, limiting the Samsung 990 PRO drives to their rated sequential speeds of up to 7 450 MB/s read and 6 900 MB/s write.
