Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9965WX at 4.2 GHz with a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler. It ships with 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, three Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs totalling 10 TB, a 10 TB SATA III hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB graphics card. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited For High-Thread Count And ECC Memory

Professionals running multi-threaded rendering, simulation or virtualisation workloads that benefit from 24 cores and 48 threads with error-correcting memory will match this specification. Buyers who need more than 128 GB of RAM, additional GPU compute or a different GPU vendor should look at something else. The single-socket sTR5 platform also means dual-processor scaling is not available.

CPU Base Frequency And Core Count Define The Build

The Threadripper PRO 9965WX runs at a 4.2 GHz base clock with 24 cores and 48 threads, setting the performance envelope for every workload on this machine. All other components — memory capacity, storage layout, GPU and cooling — are sized around that processor choice.

Questions about this item

Will the sTR5 socket motherboard still fit my existing 3.5-inch drives and SATA SSDs?

The Corsair 5000D case has two internal 3.5-inch bays and four 2.5-inch bays, and the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D board provides eight SATA 6Gb/s ports for those drives.

How can I confirm the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the 24-core Threadripper PRO 9965WX at safe temperatures?

Monitor CPU temperature in Windows 11 Pro or the BIOS; the 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the 4.2 GHz base clock and 5.3 GHz boost of this 24-core processor.

Which storage drives are already installed and what extra bays or M.2 slots remain free?

The system ships with a 2 TB NVMe, two 4 TB NVMe Samsung 990 PRO SSDs and a 10 TB SATA HDD; the motherboard has four M.2 connectors total and the case still offers two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch bays.
