Questions about this item

Does the Threadripper PRO 9975WX need a TRX50 motherboard to run?

Yes, the CPU uses Socket sTR5 and ships on a GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D board, so the platform is already matched.

Will the 128GB DDR5 ECC memory work with the four M.2 NVMe slots on the TRX50 board?

The memory occupies the CPU's eight DDR5 channels; the four M.2 connectors are wired through the chipset, so they operate independently.

How can I confirm the RTX 5090 is recognised after first boot?

Open Device Manager — the GPU will appear under Display adapters as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB of video memory.
