Workstation for AI Development

This liquid-cooled workstation pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with a RADEON AI PRO R9700 graphics card carrying 32GB of memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and 64GB of DDR5 system RAM. The platform targets developers and researchers who need local GPU compute for model training and inference.

GPU Memory Decides Model Fit

The RADEON AI PRO R9700 provides 32GB of dedicated video memory, which is the single specification that determines whether a given model and batch size will run without offloading to system RAM. Larger models or higher precision workloads that exceed this capacity will require multi-GPU configurations or cloud resources.

4TB NVMe Plus 10TB HDD Headroom

The 4TB NVMe drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec for active datasets and checkpoints. The 10TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for archives and raw data. System memory supports up to 192GB total across four slots, leaving room to double the current 64GB if workloads demand it.

Questions about this item

What does the 4.3 GHz base clock mean for sustained workloads on the Ryzen 9 9950X?

The processor runs at 4.3 GHz base frequency across all 16 cores and can boost up to 5.70 GHz when thermal headroom allows, giving consistent multi-threaded throughput for rendering and AI training.

What does the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface cap for the Samsung 990 PRO SSD?

The drive connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 lane, limiting sequential reads to 7450 MB/s and writes to 6900 MB/s as stated for this model.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit in the Corsair 4000D case?

Yes, the 360 mm AIO is mounted in the 490 mm deep mid-tower which supports radiators up to 360 mm in the front or top positions.
