Purpose-built workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core AMD Threadripper 9960X processor with 64GB of DDR5 ECC memory for professional compute workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes a 360mm liquid cooler to sustain high clock speeds under sustained load.

Assembly and expansion

The Corsair 5000D Frame case arrives fully built with the motherboard, CPU cooler, power supply and drives pre-installed. Two M.2 NVMe slots are already occupied by the Samsung 990 PRO drives, while four additional M.2 connectors and eight SATA ports remain free on the TRX50 AERO D board for future storage upgrades.

Storage headroom

A 2TB NVMe SSD and a 4TB NVMe SSD deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads for active projects, while a 10TB SATA hard drive provides bulk capacity for archives. The 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU supplies ample power for the RTX A400 graphics card and leaves headroom for additional drives or expansion cards.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 24-core Threadripper 9960X is running at its 4.2 GHz base and 5.3 GHz boost after setup?

Open Task Manager or a monitoring tool such as HWInfo and watch the CPU frequency settle at 4.2 GHz under light load and climb toward 5.3 GHz during heavy rendering or simulation tasks.

What storage drives and GPU are already installed, and what must I add myself?

The system ships with a 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO, a 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO, a 10 TB SATA hard drive and an Nvidia RTX A400 4 GB graphics card; no extra drives or GPU are required unless you need more capacity.

Which RAM capacity should I choose for ECC workloads — the standard 64 GB or a larger kit?

The 64 GB DDR5 ECC configuration handles most professional workloads; select a larger kit only if your specific applications regularly exceed that amount.
