64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-Core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9980X processor with 128GB DDR5 ECC memory and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and includes a 360mm AIO cooler for sustained high-load operation.

Creators needing 128GB ECC and multi-NVMe storage

Professionals running simulation, rendering or AI workloads that fit within 128GB RAM and three NVMe drives will match this configuration. Buyers who require more than three NVMe devices or more than two 10GbE-class LAN ports must look elsewhere.

3.2GHz base with 5.4GHz boost ceiling

The Threadripper 9980X runs at a 3.2GHz base clock and can reach up to 5.4GHz across its 64 cores and 128 threads. This frequency range determines how quickly the workstation completes single-thread bursts and sustained parallel compute tasks.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2 TB NVMe, the 4 TB NVMe or the 10 TB HDD for my main project drive?

The 2 TB and both 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives reach up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, while the 10 TB HDD runs on SATA III with a 256 MB cache.

What does the 3.2 GHz base clock on the 64-core Threadripper 9980X mean when all cores are loaded?

The processor holds 3.2 GHz across all 64 cores and 128 threads, with a 256 MB L3 cache and a maximum boost up to 5.4 GHz for lighter bursts.

Does the PCIe 4.0 x4 link on the M.2 slots cap the Samsung 990 PRO SSDs in real workloads?

Each 990 PRO is wired to a PCIe 4.0 x4 lane, so the 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write limits are the practical ceiling you will see.
