64-Core Threadripper Workstation

The Adamant Custom workstation is built around a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor running at a 3.2GHz base clock. It targets professionals who need maximum multi-threaded throughput for rendering, simulation or large-scale data analysis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory for error-corrected capacity.

Liquid Cooling and Triple NVMe Array

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler keeps the 64-core CPU at sustainable temperatures under continuous load. Storage combines a 2TB and two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives, each rated for up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, plus a 10TB SATA III hard drive for bulk retention. The Seasonic 1600W 80+ Titanium PSU delivers stable power to every component.

sTR5 Platform Connectivity Limits

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides two USB4 Type-C ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports at the rear, with additional internal USB 2.0 and 3.2 headers. Dual LAN ports handle wired networking. The case offers two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch internal bays, but no further M.2 slots beyond the three populated by the factory NVMe drives.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant refills or pump replacement over time?

The 360 mm AIO Quiet Edition is a sealed loop; no coolant refills are required and the pump is rated for continuous operation.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first when all 64 cores run at 5.4 GHz?

The Threadripper 9980X 256 MB L3 cache and 1600 W 80+ Titanium PSU set the sustained ceiling; the liquid cooler keeps CPU temps in check.

How loud is the 140 mm PSU fan and the 120 mm case fans during an all-day render?

Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan; front and rear 120 mm fans run low-RPM for minimal noise.
