Liquid-cooled Threadripper workstation

The Adamant Custom workstation pairs a 32-core Threadripper PRO 9975WX processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory. A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load inside a Corsair 5000D Frame tower. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and targets compute-heavy professional workloads.

Thermals noise and 1200W Gold power

The 360mm AIO cooler and case fans move heat away from the 32-core chip while keeping acoustic output low. A Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit supplies power with Japanese main capacitors and over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protections. Two front USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port and rear audio complete the daily I/O.

Dual Samsung 990 PRO SSDs and 10TB HDD

A 2TB and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive deliver sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for active project storage. The 10TB SATA III hard drive adds 256MB cache bulk capacity for archives. The RTX A400 4GB GPU provides four MiniDisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid CPU cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the 360 mm radiator to the Corsair 5000D frame using the included brackets, then connect the pump header to the Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard; the step often missed is plugging the pump tach cable into the CPU_FAN header so the BIOS can monitor flow.

Which components will need replacement first during long-term use?

The 10 TB SATA hard drive with 256 MB cache and the 1200 W Thermaltake Toughpower PSU are the parts most likely to require replacement after extended operation.

What thermal or power limit appears first when the 32-core Threadripper runs sustained workloads?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler and 1200 W 80 Plus Gold PSU set the practical ceiling; the CPU will throttle before the motherboard VRM or power delivery reaches its rated capacity.
