64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower workstation is built around a 64-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 5.4 GHz boost. It includes 128 GB of DDR5 ECC memory and a 360 mm liquid cooler. The system targets professionals who need high core counts for rendering, simulation or AI workloads.

Storage limits and expansion

The workstation provides three M.2 slots populated with Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives totalling 10 TB and a single 10 TB SATA III hard drive. The motherboard offers four M.2 connectors and eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports, but only three NVMe drives are installed. Buyers who want more than three bootable NVMe volumes or additional SATA arrays must add drives themselves.

24 GB RTX PRO 4000 graphics

An Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU with 24 GB of video memory handles visualisation and GPU-accelerated compute. The card fits in the Corsair 5000D Frame case alongside the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply. Buyers who need multi-GPU scaling or a different GPU memory capacity must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2 TB, 4 TB or 10 TB NVMe option for the OS and active projects?

The workstation ships with three Samsung 990 PRO drives: a 2 TB boot drive and two 4 TB drives, giving 10 TB total NVMe capacity. All three run at PCIe 4.0 x4 with sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s.

What does the 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX actually deliver in a real workload?

The CPU provides 64 cores and 128 threads at a 3.2 GHz base clock with boost up to 5.4 GHz and 256 MB L3 cache, cooled by a 360 mm liquid cooler for sustained multi-threaded performance.

How fast can the dual LAN ports and USB4 connections move data in practice?

The motherboard includes two LAN ports and two rear USB4 Type-C ports; USB4 supports up to 40 Gbps signalling, while the LAN ports operate at standard gigabit or 2.5 GbE rates depending on the connected switch.
