Liquid-Cooled Threadripper Workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 64-core Threadripper PRO 9985WX processor with 256GB of DDR5 ECC memory in a Corsair 5000D Frame chassis. A 360mm liquid cooler and a 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply support sustained heavy workloads under Windows 11 Pro.

Suited for Multi-Threaded Production Pipelines

The 64 cores and 128 threads handle large-scale rendering, simulation and AI-ready tasks that scale across many threads. Buyers who need more GPU memory for massive 3D scenes or who require multiple double-width graphics cards should look at a different platform.

Dual NVMe and High-Capacity HDD Storage

A 2TB and a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drive deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes for active projects. The 10TB SATA hard drive adds deep archival capacity without consuming additional M.2 slots.

Questions about this item

Does the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU require any additional power cables beyond what the Corsair 5000D FRAME case provides?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W unit ships with all cables needed for the Threadripper PRO 9985WX, RTX PRO 2000 16GB GPU, 256GB DDR5 ECC memory, both Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives and the 10TB SATA HDD.

Can the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard run the 10TB SATA III HDD alongside the two NVMe SSDs without bandwidth conflicts?

Yes, the board provides eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and four M.2 connectors, so the 10TB drive on SATA III and the 2TB plus 4TB NVMe SSDs operate on independent lanes.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the 64-core CPU within thermal limits after assembly?

Monitor core temperatures in Windows 11 Pro or BIOS; the cooler is sized for the 3.2 GHz base up to 5.4 GHz boost of the Threadripper PRO 9985WX.
