Magnetic SSD power bank

The ADATA SR800 combines a 2000GB external SSD with a 5000mAh magnetic power bank in one device. It uses USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 for data transfers up to 2000MB/s. The unit snaps onto compatible phones for 15W wireless charging and delivers 20W wired charging via USB-C. An integrated foldable stand props the phone up during use.

For creators needing power and speed

This suits mobile creators who record high-bitrate video directly to fast external storage while keeping their phone charged. The magnetic mount and built-in stand streamline on-the-go shooting workflows. Buyers who only need raw capacity or only need a charger should look at dedicated single-function devices instead.

Check phone and port compatibility

Verify your phone supports magnetic attachment and 15W wireless charging before ordering. Ensure your host device has a USB-C port capable of USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 to reach the stated 2000MB/s transfer rate. Confirm the 20W wired output matches your device's fast-charging requirements.

Questions about this item

Does my phone need MagSafe or a magnetic case for the 15W wireless charging to work?

Yes, the magnetic wireless charging requires a MagSafe-compatible phone or a magnetic case to align and hold the power bank securely.

Can I use the USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 port with an older laptop that only has USB 3.0?

Yes, the drive is backward compatible and will operate at USB 3.0 speeds when connected to an older port.

How can I confirm the drive is hitting the 2000MB/s transfer rate after setup?

Run a benchmark tool such as CrystalDiskMark on a desktop; sequential read and write results should approach 2000MB/s on a USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 connection.
