The AddOn 462-3623-AO is a hot-swappable SFP+ transceiver built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fibre. It operates at an 850 nm wavelength and reaches up to 300 metres using LC duplex connectors. The module is TAA compliant and coded for Dell® equipment.

Suited for short-reach data-centre links

Network engineers extending 10 GbE connections between switches, servers or storage arrays within a single building will find the 300-metre reach appropriate. It is not intended for longer campus or metro spans that require single-mode optics or extended-reach SFP+ modules.
