AddOn 20m LC/LC Single-Mode Fibre Cable

This 20 metre duplex patch cable uses single-mode 9/125 fibre with LC male connectors on both ends. The yellow jacket identifies the OS1 rating and the cable is rated for riser installations. It provides a straightforward link for long-distance network connections.

Suits installers needing a 20m OS1 duplex link

Buyers who require a different length, multimode fibre, or alternative connector types such as SC or ST should look elsewhere. Those needing plenum-rated jackets or higher fibre counts will also need a different product.

Questions about this item

Do I need LC-compatible SFP modules or patch panels for this cable to work?

Yes — both ends terminate in LC male connectors, so the equipment on each side must accept LC plugs, such as LC SFP transceivers or LC bulkhead adapters.

Will this yellow single-mode cable work with the orange multimode patch cables I already have?

No — this is a 9/125 µm single-mode duplex cable, and multimode cables use a different core size; connecting them directly would cause high loss and link errors.
