What this cable connects

The AddOn HDMI2HDMI6F is a 6 ft HDMI 1.3 male-to-male cable in black. It links HDMI-enabled source devices such as Blu-ray or DVD players to compatible displays including HDTVs. The 1.82 m length suits typical living-room or desktop setups where components sit near each other.

Capacity and headroom

The cable supports full 1080p resolution at a 120 Hz refresh rate, handling standard high-definition video and multi-channel audio without compression. It does not carry the bandwidth required for 4K, HDR or higher refresh-rate formats, so users planning those resolutions should choose a cable rated for a newer HDMI specification.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive copper cable it draws no external power and generates no heat or audible noise during operation. The durable construction resists everyday bending and connector strain, maintaining a reliable signal path for the supported 1080p 120 Hz workload.

Questions about this item

Will this HDMI 1.3 cable work with my older 1080p HDTV that only has HDMI 1.2 ports?

Yes, the HDMI 1.3 male connectors are backward compatible with HDMI 1.2 ports and will transmit 1080p video at up to 120Hz refresh rate.

How can I verify the cable is delivering a proper 1080p signal at 120Hz after connecting it?

Check your display settings to confirm 1080p resolution at 120Hz is active, and ensure both source and display show a stable image without flicker or dropouts.

Does the HDMI2HDMI6F package include any adapters or do I need to buy them separately for my setup?

The box contains only the 6 ft HDMI 1.3 male-to-male cable; no adapters are included, so purchase any required converters separately.
