AddOn QFXSFPDAC2MAAO 10GBase-CU SFP+ Direct Attach Cable 2m

SKU CH-CWZ0-8F6ZG

A 10GBase-CU SFP+ direct attach cable for short-range 10 GbE links

  • Juniper QFX-SFP-DAC-2MA compatible for drop-in deployment
  • TAA compliant for regulated procurement requirements
  • 10GBase-CU active twinax supports 10 Gb/s links
  • 2 m reach connects adjacent rack equipment

Compatible 10GBase-CU Direct Attach Cable

This SFP+ to SFP+ direct attach cable is built to match the Juniper Networks QFX-SFP-DAC-2MA specification. It provides a 10 Gbps twinax link for rack-to-rack or switch-to-server connections in data-centre and enterprise networks. The assembly is TAA compliant for procurement requirements that mandate approved sourcing.

Practical limits of passive copper reach

Active twinax construction extends the reliable distance compared with passive equivalents, yet the 2 metre length still confines deployment to adjacent racks or within a single cabinet. Longer runs demand optical transceivers and fibre cabling. The fixed SFP+ ends prevent media conversion or breakout configurations.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2m length or a longer cable for my 10GBase-CU SFP+ connection?

Select the 2m length when your switch and server ports are within that distance; longer cables add latency and cost without benefit for short runs.

What does the 10GBase-CU rating deliver in an active Juniper-compatible link?

It provides a 10 Gbps active twinax connection that meets TAA compliance for Juniper QFX-SFP-DAC-2MA ports.
