720p USB 2.0 webcam for basic video calls

The Adesso CyberTrack H3-TAA is a 1.3 megapixel webcam that captures 1280 x 720 video at 30 fps over USB 2.0. A CMOS sensor and built-in microphone handle simple conferencing needs. It is TAA compliant and finished in black. The manual focus lets you adjust sharpness for your working distance.

Passive cooling with no fan noise

The camera draws power directly from the USB 2.0 port and has no active cooling, so it runs silently. Typical operation adds only a small load to the host controller. No external power supply is required for normal use. Thermals stay low during extended calls.

Clip mount fits monitors and notebooks

The integrated clip secures the webcam to laptop screens or desktop monitors without tools. A single USB 2.0 cable carries both video and audio, reducing desk clutter. Manual focus ring is accessible while the unit is mounted. The lightweight body stays stable on thin bezels.

Questions about this item

How do I install the CyberTrack H3-TAA and which step is most often missed?

Plug the USB 2.0 cable into the computer; the step people skip is checking that the built-in microphone is selected as the default input in the operating system sound settings.

What maintenance or replacement will the CyberTrack H3-TAA need later?

The manual focus ring may loosen over time; clean the lens with a microfibre cloth and, if focus drifts, gently readjust the ring.

What limit appears first during long video calls on the CyberTrack H3-TAA?

The 30 fps frame rate at 1280 x 720 resolution is fixed, so extended sessions cannot exceed that capture speed.
