Right-handed optical mouse for general computing

The Adesso iMouse G2 is a right-handed optical mouse built for everyday office and home use. It connects by USB and provides six programmable buttons for navigation and shortcuts. The adjustable 2400 DPI sensor lets users match pointer speed to the task at hand. Its glossy black finish gives a clean, professional look.

Plug-and-play USB setup with ergonomic grip

Installation is straightforward: plug the USB connector into any free port and the mouse is recognised immediately without extra drivers. The contoured right-hand shape supports a natural wrist posture during long sessions. Some users find the glossy surface can become slippery with extended use, so a textured mouse pad may improve grip.

Consistent tracking at 2400 DPI under sustained use

The optical sensor maintains steady tracking at the full 2400 DPI setting during prolonged work periods. Button clicks remain responsive over repeated daily use. The lightweight 0.35 pound body reduces hand fatigue when moving across large surfaces. It is not intended for competitive gaming or tasks that demand higher polling rates or specialised sensor features.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the optical sensor is tracking at the selected 2400 DPI after plugging it in?

Move the pointer across a measured distance on screen and compare the physical travel; the cursor should match the 2400 DPI setting without extra software.

The box lists a USB cable and the mouse itself — do I need to buy a separate receiver or driver disc?

The mouse connects by USB cable only; no separate receiver or driver disc is required for basic operation.

The spec sheet shows a single 2400 DPI model in black — are there other DPI versions or colour options I should consider?

Only the 2400 DPI black version is listed; no alternative resolutions or colours are offered for this model.
