Compact POS Cash Drawer

The Adesso MRP-13CD is a 13-inch cash drawer built for point-of-sale stations that need a small footprint. It suits retail counters, hospitality desks and mobile pop-up setups where space is limited but cash handling remains essential. The unit ships new and meets FCC, CE and RoHS compliance.

Removable Tray and Media Slots

A lift-out tray with a detachable coin case lets staff move cash to a back office without carrying the whole drawer. Two media slots beneath the coin insert hold large bills, cheques or vouchers, while adjustable bill and coin dividers adapt the four bill and five coin compartments to daily float requirements.

Steel Construction With Quiet Rollers

Heavy-duty ball-bearing rollers reduce noise and wear during repeated opening cycles. The drawer connects through a standard RJ11 or RJ12 port to a POS printer or terminal and operates on 9 to 24 volts. A three-position lock offers locked, unlocked and electronic-open modes, plus a hidden emergency lever for manual release.

Questions about this item

How often should the ball-bearing rollers on the Adesso MRP-13CD be lubricated?

The heavy-duty ball bearing rollers are designed to increase performance while decreasing noise during operation, and no routine lubrication schedule is required for normal use.

What limits continuous daily cycling of the MRP-13CD drawer mechanism?

The drawer operates on a 9 to 24 volt supply through a standard RJ11 or RJ12 connection, so the POS terminal's power output and duty cycle determine the practical limit for sustained electronic openings.

How much noise and heat does the MRP-13CD produce when left powered on all day?

Heavy-duty ball bearing rollers decrease noise during operation, and the low-voltage 9 to 24 volt design generates minimal heat even when the drawer remains connected to the POS terminal continuously.
