Cash drawer with removable tray

The Adesso MRP-16CD is a 16-inch point-of-sale cash drawer built for retail and hospitality counters. It ships new with a removable tray that separates from the chassis for secure cash transport. The tray includes a lift-out coin case and dividers for bills and coins. A media slot under the coin insert accepts large notes and cheques without opening the drawer.

RJ12 connection and three-position lock

Installation uses a standard RJ12 cable to the receipt printer or POS terminal, requiring no special drivers. The drawer operates on 9 to 24 V supplied by the host device. A three-position key lock selects locked, manual open, or electronic opening from the POS. Two coded keys are included. Heavy-duty ball-bearing rollers keep the slide smooth and quiet during repeated cycles.

Steel chassis rated for continuous daily use

The all-metal case measures 16 by 16 by 3.9 inches and weighs 17.6 lbs, giving a stable footprint that resists tipping. Five bill compartments and eight coin compartments handle high-volume transaction mixes without reconfiguration. FCC, CE and RoHS marks confirm compliance for commercial environments. The mechanism is designed for sustained operation throughout full trading days rather than occasional bursts.
