Questions about this item

Which connectivity option should I pick — the Bluetooth link or the 2.4 GHz USB receiver?

Both give the same 150‑foot range; the USB receiver works instantly without pairing while Bluetooth connects directly to tablets or phones that lack a spare USB port.

What does the 12‑inch scan distance mean when I am at a checkout counter?

You can read a barcode on a product or phone screen held roughly a foot away without leaning over the counter, and the engine tolerates 5 inches per second motion for quick passes.

How does the 2.4 GHz wireless link affect latency or interference in a busy shop?

The dedicated 2.4 GHz channel pairs only with the included receiver, so it avoids Bluetooth congestion and delivers consistent response for POS and inventory tasks.
