USB Headset with Push-to-Talk

The Adesso Xtream-P4T-TAA is a wired USB headset built for business communication. It connects via USB-A with an included USB-C adapter and weighs 227 g (0.5 lbs). A 30 mm driver covers a 20 Hz to 20 KHz frequency response with 2.2 Kohm impedance. The 1.8 m cable and adjustable omnidirectional microphone complete the package.

Suited for call-centre staff and remote workers

This headset suits professionals who need hands-free call control during long sessions. The inline controller offers volume adjustment, answer and end call buttons, plus a dedicated push-to-talk switch for instant muting. Buyers who want wireless operation or active noise cancellation should look at something else.

Push-to-talk button on inline remote

A single physical button toggles microphone transmission instantly, letting users mute and unmute without software interaction. The microphone sensitivity is rated at 40±3 dB at 1 KHz. This hardware control is the feature that decides whether the headset fits a workflow built around rapid muting.

Questions about this item

Speak into the adjustable omnidirectional microphone and verify the input level reads around 40±3dB at 1KHz in your computer sound settings; the push-to-talk button should mute and unmute instantly when pressed.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables for a USB-C only laptop?

The package includes the Xtream P4T-TAA headset, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a quick user guide; no additional cables are required because the adapter covers USB-C ports.
