Archival Print Storage Box

The Adorama Print Storage Box provides acid-free, lignin-free protection for photographs and negatives. Its patented Dual Chemistry construction separates an alkaline-buffered exterior from a neutral interior with a polyester barrier. Metal-reinforced corners add durability for long-term archival preservation.

Drop-Front Access Design

A removable top and drop-front bottom panel allow prints to slide out without bending or surface contact. This two-piece mechanism is the single feature that prevents handling damage during frequent retrieval. The box measures 9 by 11-1/2 by 1-1/2 inches for standard print formats.

Stackable Long-Term Behaviour

Reinforced metal corners maintain structural integrity when multiple boxes are stacked vertically over years. The rigid fiberboard resists bowing under sustained weight, keeping the interior environment stable. Archival-grade materials continue to off-gas zero harmful substances throughout extended storage periods.

Questions about this item

How does the 1-1/2" depth work once the box is on a shelf?

The 1-1/2" depth holds a thin stack of prints or negatives and the drop-front panel folds down so you can lift items straight out without tilting the whole box.

What does the alkaline-buffered exterior and neutral interior actually do for my prints?

The exterior neutralises airborne acids while the interior stays pH-neutral; a polyester barrier keeps the two chemistries separate so neither migrates into your photographs.

What clearance do the metal-reinforced corners need when I stack multiple boxes?

The metal corners sit flush with the box edges, so boxes stack directly on top of each other without extra gap or overhang.
