Bracket for Netvanta 4305 and 5305

This mounting bracket secures the octal T1/E1 wide module inside compatible Netvanta access routers. It is intended for network engineers who are expanding WAN density on a 1U platform.

Installed module support under continuous traffic

The bracket holds the wide module firmly in its slot so that all eight T1 or E1 links remain seated during sustained data loads. No movement occurs even when the chassis handles the full 100 ports of aggregated bandwidth.

Replaces a missing or damaged original bracket

Use this part when the factory bracket is lost during a module swap or when a spare chassis arrives without hardware. The upgrade is only worth it if you are populating the third interface slot on a 4305 or 5305 unit.

Questions about this item

Will the 1202843 bracket add noticeable heat or fan noise inside a 1U NetVanta 4305 chassis running continuously?

The 1202843 bracket is a passive metal bracket with no fans or active components, so it adds no measurable heat or acoustic output to the 1U enclosure.

Which NetVanta chassis must I already own for the 1202843 bracket to fit and function?

The bracket is designed for the NetVanta 4305 or 5305 1U 19-inch rackmount chassis; it will not mount in other platforms.

Can I keep my existing NetVanta 4305 modules while installing the 1202843 bracket in the same unit?

Yes, the bracket occupies a single interface slot in the 4305, leaving the remaining two slots available for any supported modules you already use.
