Extends Two Patch Cables

This Belkin RJ45 inline coupler joins two Category 5 patch cables to create a longer run. It provides a straight-through female-to-female connection in an ivory housing. The coupler is supplied new and ready for immediate installation.

Suits Simple Cable Extensions

Installers who need a quick way to bridge two existing Category 5 cords will find this coupler convenient. Builders who require Cat 5e certification for 100Base-T Ethernet should look at a different component because this model is not rated for that standard.

Not Cat 5e Certified

The specification sheet states clearly that the R6G089-S is not Cat 5e certified. That single fact determines whether the coupler meets the performance class your network infrastructure demands.
