The ADTRAN Total Access 924e Gen 3 is a VoIP gateway built for businesses that need to connect up to 24 analog phones or fax machines to an IP network. It provides 24 FXS ports and a single lifeline FXO port for PSTN fallback. The unit supports up to 60 simultaneous TDM-to-VoIP call conversions using G.711 and G.729a codecs with G.168 echo cancellation. It functions as both a SIP Back-to-Back User Agent and a SIP proxy for analog, PRI and IP endpoints.

Three Ethernet ports for flexible WAN

Connectivity includes one Gigabit 10/100/1000 BaseT port and two 10/100 BaseT interfaces for router or LAN/WAN access. Four T1 interfaces provide additional WAN flexibility for multi-T1 deployments. An integrated IP router handles OSPF, BGP, RIP v1/v2, static routes, VRRP, multi-VRF and a stateful inspection firewall. An optional Session Border Controller feature pack is available for enhanced security and interoperability. USB and console ports allow local management and configuration.
