Direct Replacement for NEC M260W Projector
This Advanced Lamps module ships as a complete lamp-and-housing assembly built to fit the NEC M260W projector. It arrives new and ready to install without extra tools or adapters. The part number M260W-LAMP-A identifies the exact unit for fast ordering and inventory tracking.
90-Day Warranty and Low Maintenance
The lamp carries a 90-day warranty from the supplier, covering early-life failures under normal classroom or meeting-room use. Power draw follows the projector's standard operating profile, so no electrical changes are needed. Routine filter cleaning on the host projector keeps airflow and noise at expected levels.
Steady Output Through Full Cycles
Under sustained operation the genuine AL Series lamp maintains consistent brightness without the sharp drop-off seen in short-burst testing. Colour balance holds stable across long presentations or back-to-back lessons. The housing design dissipates heat evenly, supporting reliable output for the rated service interval.

Questions about this item
How do I install the M260W-LAMP-A lamp and housing into my NEC M260W projector, and what step do people often get wrong?
Power off and unplug the projector, let it cool completely, remove the lamp cover, loosen the securing screws, pull the old module straight out, insert the new M260W-LAMP-A housing until it seats firmly, tighten the screws, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the step most often missed.
What maintenance or replacement will the M260W-LAMP-A need later?
The lamp module is a consumable; after its rated hours the projector will indicate replacement. Keep the air filters clean and the vents unobstructed to avoid overheating that shortens lamp life. The 90-day warranty covers early failure of the M260W-LAMP-A unit.
What limit appears first during sustained use of the M260W-LAMP-A?
Heat buildup is the first practical limit — blocked filters or poor ventilation raise internal temperature, triggering protective shutdown or accelerating lamp wear before the rated hours are reached.
