Compatible replacement lamp for Viewsonic PRO8520WL

This new aftermarket lamp and housing assembly is built for the Viewsonic PRO8520WL projector. It uses a genuine AL Series 370W lamp and comes with a 90 day warranty. The unit weighs 0.9990 and is ready for installation.

Suits owners needing a direct replacement.

This module fits the PRO8520WL only, so buyers with different Viewsonic projectors or other brands should look elsewhere. It delivers the rated 2,000 hours at full power or 2,500 hours in eco-mode. Users who need a longer service interval or a different wattage cannot use this part.

Simple housing swap; avoid touching the bulb glass

Installation consists of removing the old housing and inserting the new one, a process that typically takes minutes. The main risk is contaminating the lamp surface with skin oils, which can cause premature failure. Handle the assembly by the housing frame and follow the projector's reset procedure after fitting.

Questions about this item

Which projector model must I own for the PRO8520WL-LAMP-A lamp and housing to fit?

The module is built for the Viewsonic PRO8520WL projector, so that exact model must be installed for proper fit and operation.

Will the 370 W genuine AL series lamp run correctly in the older Viewsonic PRO8520WL chassis I already have?

Yes, the lamp and housing are engineered for that chassis, delivering the rated 2,000 hours at full power and 2,500 hours in eco-mode without modification.

How can I confirm the new lamp is performing as intended after installation?

Reset the projector's lamp-hour counter, then verify the menu shows zero hours and the rated 2,000-hour full-power or 2,500-hour eco-mode lifespan begins counting up.
