What It Is

The Advantus RR15059 Read Right Smart Cleaning Card is a single-use card pre-saturated with cleaning solution. It is designed for operators of ATMs, POS terminals, kiosks and other card-reading equipment who need to maintain reliable transaction completion rates.

Waffle Technology Benefit

The unique waffle design conforms to critical surface areas including chip reader pins, mag stripe heads and landing zones. This structure cleans EMV chip contacts and magnetic readers in a single pass while the pre-saturated format removes the need for separate fluids. Each card is disposable to prevent cross-contamination between devices.

Pack Capacity And Limits

A box contains 10 white cleaning cards measuring 5 inches by 2.1 inches with a thickness of 0.1 inches. This quantity supports a regular maintenance schedule for a small fleet of readers. It does not suit high-volume environments requiring daily cleaning of dozens of terminals without frequent reordering.

Questions about this item

How often do I replace the Read Right Smart Cleaning Card RR15059?

Each card is single-use to prevent cross-contamination; the box contains 10 cards, so replace after every cleaning session.

What limits the cleaning performance of the waffle-design card during repeated use?

The waffle pattern conforms to chip pins and swipe paths, but the pre-saturated formula is spent after one pass, making the card disposable.

Does the pre-saturated card leave residue or heat up the reader during all-day cleaning?

No residue is mentioned; the card simply wipes the reader and is discarded, so there is no heat build-up or power draw.
