Purpose & Audience

The Adventure Labs TP002 is a GPS tracker built for dog owners who want cellular-based location monitoring without relying on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi proximity. It suits pets that roam beyond the house or yard and need coverage across 185 countries.

Alerts & Subscription Impact

The bundled service adds real-time Chase Mode updates every 5 seconds, virtual-fence breach notifications, speed alerts and low-battery warnings delivered by push, email or SMS to iOS, Android or web apps. A monthly subscription from $3.99 activates the built-in SIM and enables multiple trusted contacts to track the same device simultaneously.

Cellular & Environmental Limits

The tracker operates on 4G, 3G and 2G networks worldwide, so it works far beyond short-range protocols, yet it cannot function where cellular signal is absent. Its IP67 rating allows submersion for 30 minutes, but it is not rated for deeper or prolonged water exposure. Battery life averages up to 7 days depending on update frequency.
