Safe Volume Headphones for Children

The Aechorhy YY-01 over-ear headphones are wired models designed specifically for children. They feature two built-in volume limiting modes set at 85dB and 94dB to protect young hearing during daily use. A 3.5mm connector provides universal compatibility with tablets, laptops and PCs for school or travel. The foldable design and flexible earcups make them easy to pack and carry.

Check Device Compatibility Before Buying

Verify that your child's device has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, as these headphones use a wired connection only. The inline microphone uses the same combined TRRS plug for voice input on compatible hardware. No battery or software installation is required for the volume limiter or microphone to function. Ensure the headband adjustment range suits the child's head size for a secure fit.

Passive Isolation and Cable Durability

Passive noise cancellation from the over-ear cups reduces background sound without active electronics or power draw. The thickened nylon braided cable resists tangling, torsion and daily pulling by children. A built-in high-sensitivity microphone captures voices clearly for online classes or calls. The 40mm dynamic drivers deliver stereo sound across a 5Hz-20KHz frequency response range.

Questions about this item

Does the YY-01 come with any extra cables or adapters, or is the 3.5mm cord the only connection?

The headphones have a fixed 3.5mm braided nylon cable. No separate cables, adapters or carry case are listed in the specifications.

How do the 85dB and 94dB volume limits differ in everyday use?

85dB follows hearing-safety guidelines for children; 94dB allows louder playback for noisier environments such as travel. A switch on the headset selects between the two modes.

Will the 40mm drivers and 5Hz-20KHz range sound clear on a school laptop?

The 40mm dynamic drivers cover the full audible range, so speech in online classes and stereo media playback come through clearly on any device with a 3.5mm jack.
