Aechorhy YY-03 50mm Over-Ear Headphones

The Aechorhy YY-03 are wired over-ear headphones equipped with 50mm dynamic drivers. They deliver a frequency response of 5Hz to 20KHz for detailed monitoring. A 1.8-meter retractable spiral cable resists tangles and extends for freedom of movement. The package includes a screw-on 6.35mm adapter fitted over the native 3.5mm plug.

Suited for DJ mixing, studio recording

These headphones suit users who need accurate stereo reproduction and dual 3.5mm and 6.35mm connectivity for laptops, mixers and audio interfaces. The rotating earcups and adjustable headband support long sessions. Buyers who want active noise cancellation, a built-in microphone or wireless freedom should look at other models.

Fits straight into a 3.5mm or 6.35mm jack

No battery, DAC or driver installation is required; simply plug into a laptop, controller or interface. The screw-on adapter lets you switch between consumer and professional sockets in seconds. The coiled cable stays compact on a desk but reaches across a booth or rack when extended.

Questions about this item

What source device must I already have to use the 3.5 mm plug?

Any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack such as a laptop, phone, tablet or portable player will work directly with the supplied plug.

Can I keep my 6.35 mm mixer or audio interface and still use these headphones?

Yes, the 6.35 mm adapter screws onto the 3.5 mm plug so you can connect straight to professional mixers, controllers or interfaces without extra cables.

How do I confirm the 50 mm drivers are reproducing the full 5 Hz to 20 kHz range after setup?

Play a frequency sweep test tone; you should hear continuous output from the deepest bass up to the highest treble without drop-outs or distortion.
