Outdoor enterprise access point

The Aerohive AP1130 is a ruggedised outdoor wireless access point built for enterprise deployments that need reliable 802.11ac coverage in exposed locations. It serves network engineers and installers who require a controller-less architecture that auto-discovers new nodes as the network grows. The unit supports concurrent dual-band operation for legacy and modern clients alike.

Passive cooling with PoE power

The sealed chassis relies on passive thermal management so there are no moving parts to fail in harsh weather. Power is delivered over the single Ethernet cable using PoE, removing the need for a separate outdoor mains supply. This keeps installation simple and power draw predictable in normal operation.

Watertight chassis with single gigabit port

The watertight enclosure is rated for extended temperature ranges, allowing deployment in almost any outdoor environment on earth. A single 10/100/1000 Ethernet port handles both data and power, so cabling is limited to one shielded run per unit. Two antennas per radio provide 2x2:2 MIMO coverage across both frequency bands.
