aFe Power 14AWG 12V 24V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Extension Cord 10ft

Vehicle power extension

The aFe Power 14AWG cord extends a 12V or 24V cigarette lighter socket by 10ft / 3.05m. It suits drivers who need to run a tire inflator, air pump, coffee maker or similar accessory from the rear of a vehicle. The 14 AWG pure copper conductors handle up to 150 watts of modified sine wave output. Buyers who want more outlets or a higher wattage rating should look elsewhere.

Build and connectors

A male plug with a 20A fuse (6x30mm) and LED power indicator protects the vehicle circuit. The female socket includes a dust and water protective cap for durability. Rugged thermoplastic insulation resists temperature, chemical exposure and abrasion. Strong internal welding and an anti-drag strip reduce the chance of accidental pull-off.

Thermals and power

The cord draws power directly from the vehicle system at 12V or 24V with a 150 watt continuous rating. Modified sine wave output suits resistive and basic inductive loads. No active cooling is required; the cable relies on its 2.08mm² copper cross-section and heat resistant jacket for thermal management.
