Carrying Bag and Battery Requirements

A supplied carrying bag protects the generator and probe during transport and storage. The unit requires one 9V battery (NEDA 1604, JIS 006P or IEC 6LR61) which is not included; nominal battery life is 50 hours. Gain is rated at 30 dB with 100 M ohm input impedance.

One-Button Operation and Usage Limits

Operation uses a single button: clip the generator onto the target wire and trace with the probe for identification in about one second. The probe tip offers 0 ohm resistance on metal and 300 ohm on plastic. Accuracy drops on energised lines above 24 volts, and the kit cannot measure live mains circuits.
