What It Tests

This compact tester checks alkaline and rechargeable cells in AAA, AA, C, D, N and 9V sizes plus 3.0V lithium button cells. It is designed for anyone who needs a quick voltage and strength reading without a bench meter.

Before You Use

Select the correct voltage range: 1.5V for alkaline, 1.2V for rechargeable or 3.0V for lithium button cells. For 9V batteries use the touch contacts on the left side of the unit. Insert only one cell at a time with the proper polarity.

Build And Daily Use

The black plastic housing measures 3.53 L x 1 W x 0.98 H inches and fits in a tool pouch. A spring-loaded orange tray slides out for cell insertion and locks closed for a positive connection. The tester runs on the battery under test so no separate power source is required.
