Manual-Ranging 3½-Digit LCD

The meter uses a manual-ranging 3½-digit LCD displaying up to 1999 counts and samples about two to three times per second. It covers six functions: AC voltage up to 600 V, DC voltage up to 600 V, DC current up to 200 mA, resistance, continuity with an audible tone and diode test. Over-range shows only the figure 1 on the display. Input impedance is 1 MΩ for DC voltage and about 500 kΩ for AC voltage.

Simple Setup After Removing Battery Insulation Strip

Before first use you must open the rear cover with a screwdriver, remove four screws and pull out the insulation strip from the two LR44 button cells. The unit has no auto-ranging and no auto power-off, so the selector dial must be set to the correct range for each measurement. Operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C below 75 % relative humidity. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against water ingress.
