The AFMAT PS29 is a rechargeable electric sharpener built for artists, students and anyone who works with drawing, sketching, shading, colouring or charcoal pencils. It accepts wooden pencils from 6 to 12 mm in diameter and sharpens them automatically with an adjustable tip profile. The unit weighs 0.621 kg and measures 3.15 inches wide by 7 inches high.

USB Charging and Auto-Stop Limits

Power comes from a built-in battery charged via the included USB cable, so the sharpener can be used away from a wall outlet. Sharpening stops automatically when the selected point is reached, preventing over-sharpening. The helical blade is rated for about 3000 sharpening cycles before it may need replacement.

8-17 mm Long Point Range

The sharpness adjuster lets you choose between a sharp setting for fine detail and a blunt setting for rough sketches, producing points from 8 mm up to 17 mm long. Thicker cores yield longer points; standard No. 2 pencils do not reach the maximum length. Very soft cores such as 8B grades are not recommended because they can jam the blade.
