Hands-Free Fully Automatic Sharpener

The AFMAT PSC6CY sharpens pencils from 6.5 to 12 mm in diameter. It grips, sharpens and ejects each pencil automatically without any manual cranking. The rechargeable design makes it portable for classroom, home or office use. Users with limited hand strength or arthritis benefit from the completely hands-free operation.

Sustained Sharpening Over Long Sessions

The device handles repeated sharpening of graphite, coloured and jumbo pencils without slowing down. Five adjustable sharpness levels let the user match the tip to the task, from blunt shading points to fine detail tips. Soft pencils should use the three bluntest settings to avoid lead breakage. Pencils as short as 3.19 inches can still be sharpened, reducing waste.

Rechargeable Build With Compact Footprint

Weighing 0.699 kilograms and measuring 9.7028 by 10.2108 by 21.4884 centimetres, the sharpener fits easily on a desk or shelf. The cyan-blue housing contains the sharpening mechanism and rechargeable battery in a single unit. No external power cord is required during use, so the sharpener can be moved between rooms. The optimised centring mechanism keeps pencils aligned for even tips every time.

Questions about this item

How loud is the PSC6CY when it sharpens pencils continuously for a classroom period?

The sharpener runs on a rechargeable battery and uses a fully automatic mechanism, so it operates quietly enough for a classroom without a mains hum or fan noise.

Does the PSC6CY need any pencils or a charging cable to work out of the box?

It includes a rechargeable battery and a charging cable; you only need to supply pencils between 6.5 mm and 12 mm in diameter.

Will the PSC6CY sharpen the shorter 3.19-inch pencils I already keep in my desk?

Yes, the automatic feed sharpens pencils as short as 3.19 inches, so your existing stubs will still get a clean point.
